Another Android TV Box. It's called Uhost3 and makes of a quad core ARM Cortex A9. The
device is different from the usual right-looking: instead stand as a
Mini PC from the classic rectangular body here we are faced with a
circular shape and very minimal, both in matte black color as in the
absolute lack of brand or other embellishments .It is made of
polycarbonate chassis seems still good quality.
On the front there is only the power button ,
while the back is a compilation of the main gates, and in particular
HDMI digital video output, two jacks for headphones and microphone, two
USB 2.0 ports and plug for connection to the Ethernet LAN, The form is
also flanked by those WiFi, Bluetooth, DLNA and Miracast for streaming video wirelessly to a monitor. In
order not to spoil the aesthetics of the particular Uhost 3 however the
doors can be hidden behind a flap, which restores the absolute
homogeneity of the lines of the body.
Finally, the device also integrates a webcam. Less clear the situation
as regards the budget. Smallart in fact speak broadly of a System on a
Chip with quad core ARM Cortex A9 1.6 GHz and GPU ARM Mali
400. Colleagues to Geek Buying though a spokesperson stated that the
company has not yet decided whether to adopt the AllWinner
A31 or Rockchip RK3188, something rather strange since the AllWinner is
based on core ARM Cortex A7 and A9 and 544MP2 a PowerVR SGX GPU, while
the RockChip respond perfectly to the description on the Product Data
Sheet. Aside from this inaccuracy, however Uhost3 can count on 2 GB of
RAM and 8 GB of internal memory, expandable.
We currently do not know the plans of it regarding a possible
distribution outside of the national territory, nor the estimated cost
of the Uhost3.
